KITE FLYING DAY CELEBRATION
Being in Gujarat, one cannot resist oneself by celebrating the 'Kite-flying Day'. Hence the students enjoyed this celebration on 13th January 2011.The students flew kites, ate & shared til-gud, laddus & chikis with each other. While flying & cutting each other's kites the students showed great anger but while eating they showed a positive tempo of sharing & caring.
JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION
School has celebrated Janmashtami on 26 August in the midst of the campus with great joy, contentment and admiration. Students were dressed up in traditional attire of Lord Krishna and Radha that penetrated and attracted the whole beauty of the event. With various cultural activities, included “Matka Fod” competition awakens rich culture and tradition of India and added beauty to the occasion. The Yellow house (Vivekanand) won the 1st place in boys and Green (Gandhi) grabbed the 1stposition in the girls' “Matka Phod” category respectively. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The school has celebrated 65th Independence Day on 15 August 2011 with proud and enthusiasm. Reverent chief guest Shri Dharambhai P. Lathiya (Trust President) hoisted the national flag. Shri Surani Jivrajbhai, Shri Manubhai Balar, Shri Nagjibhai Patel were the guests of honour and illuminated the occasion with their esteemed presence. The cultural programme splendidly exhibited by the students began with lit up lamp by the chief guest and the guest of honour. Students from English and Gujarati medium performed various cultural activities such as patriotic dance, group dance, patriotic song etc. Mr Dharambhai Lathiya gave inspiring and thought provoking independence message to the pupils and Mr C. B. Pansuria was felicitated and had given verbal inspiration to the students. The entire programe concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr. Mukul Bhandari Principal of the school.
ODD DAY CELEBRATION
The word 'odd' itself means 'unusual', 'unexpected' or strange. The Odd Day Celebration was conducted on 24th June' 11 to break the boring routine, of school uniform. The students participated in this celebration with great zeal and zest. Some boys dressed up like girls. Some girls dressed themselves in western style on their left body and in traditional style on their right side. The students really enjoyed this celebration and even the parents had shown a great creativity in dressing their wards in an odd way.
